I highly recommend Setup4Impact and Kirk Junge
I’ve been studying the single plane golf swing for 20 years, first with “Natural Golf” and then I moved over to Graves Golf. Until more recently, I never played much, 5 or 6 times a year. And with the single plane swing approach I could hit the ball reasonably straight, have fun and consistently score between 100 and 110, which for me during those years was just fine.
In the past couple of years as I’m getting close to retirement, I’ve gotten much more serious about my game. Scoring over 100 is no longer acceptable. I want to be in the 80’s and one day I would like to shoot my age. So, I dived deeper into the Graves Golf / Moe Norman program. I purchased the latest equipment and all the training aids. I took the 5-day school, studied all the on-line lessons, and have practiced as directed. I did make some improvement, but not enough to improve my score. As hard as I work, I still wasn’t hitting the ball consistently or scoring below 100.
.
I was at a public course and was paired up with a golfer who had a single plane swing. I asked him if he followed Graves Golf. Tony told me he had taken a 3-day Graves golf school but following up that he watched a lot of YouTube videos. He then asked me if I’d heard of Kirk Junge. At the time I hadn’t. As I played the round, Tony was hitting the ball nicely, and a lot better than me.
.
After that I watched a few of Kirk’s YouTube videos and started following his instruction. It’s been a few months, and I’m hitting the ball more consistently that ever. I feel like I’m compressing the ball; hitting the ball farther / straighter; and most important I’m now scoring in the 90’s and feel like 80’s are around the corner.
.
Working with Graves, I did get close to Moe Norman’s swing, but it never felt natural to me. I remember the stories of Moe (like all the best professional golfers) hitting thousands of balls to engrain his swing. I don’t have that time. I could not get my body to feel comfortable with the downward motion that is a key part of Moe Norman’s swing. It worked for Moe and it may work for many others. But for me, Kirk’s “Setup 4 Impact” methodology is just an easier approach to the single plane swing. Establishing your “impact position” as your “setup position” just makes so much sense. I’m hitting the ball better than ever with a swing that feels more natural to me.
.
I also like Kirk’s customized approach. There are successful tour pros with many different types of golf swings. The only thing that is consistent among them is there position at point of impact with the ball. That is where Kirk starts. Everything is about getting you to the perfect impact position. How you get there might be different from one golfer to another. Kirk allows for that and his focus is on getting you to play better golf as easy and quickly as possible.
.
I recently attended one of Kirk’s 3-day schools. I highly recommend it. Watching his videos and doing his drills can take you far. As a member of his program, sending in videos of your swing for his analysis will take you even farther. You’ll get great critiques of your swing and specific practice you can follow to make improvements. But nothing can quite replace in person instruction with Kirk right there giving you specific instruction on your swing, right there in the moment.
.
Thank you Kirk.
In early-January, 2020, I had the privilege of attending Kirk Junge's 3-Day Golf School in West Palm Beach, Florida. Over the past fifty years, I have taken lessons from some of the game's most acclaimed instructors throughout the country, but I can say, without reservation, that the three days I spent working with Kirk Junge stand out as the best golf learning experience of my life. Kirk has a unique way of communicating his wonderful method of play. He simplifies the learning process to the point where anyone can improve their game. After my 3-day experience, I reached a point where I could "feel" the rhythm in my swing. For years, I had struggled with an early release of the club head. By positioning my hands differently on the club and working to swing on a single plane, I now feel the proper sequence and have taken it to the course with confidence. Thanks, Kirk! Your schools are the "best value" going when it comes to golf instruction!
Hi Kirk,
I just wanted to thank you again for a fabulous 3 day single plane swing school. I have taken hundreds of hours of lessons in my 71 years and I think these 3 days surpassed any instruction that I have ever received. As we discussed , I have been struggling to find a swing that will give me consistent ball contact to enjoy this game and not adversely affect my aging body. Well, if my progress after practicing your drills and completing this school is any indication, I am sold on this technique.
The other aspects of the school which were so important to me, was how to practice, how to go from practice to swinging without technical thoughts and the ability to send in videos for your analysis.
Bottom line, after 3 days I walked away with no question unanswered about swing theory, equipment, training aids, practice and mental aspects of golf. I’m looking forward to reviewing my progress with some videos and a lesson after some practice and the real test on the course.
Enjoy your holiday in Germany. Looking forward to talking soon!
Kind Regards,
Hello Kirk,
I switched to the single plane swing 12 months ago, attended your school 10 months ago, broke 80 for the first time with the new swing 8 months ago, shot 75 3 months ago, and today broke par for the first time since my 30’s with a -2 69! Needless to say, I’m very satisfied with the results of the last year, as shooting par or better was a major goal for me when I signed up for your instruction. I knew I couldn’t get there in my 50’s and 60’s with my traditional swing, but now I feel like there are a lot of good rounds ahead.
Best Regards,
I’m an older golfer who never played much and struggled when I did. I’ve retired now and starting to play often with the guys and sometimes the wife. After completing Kirk’s 3-day class recently in NC my game has improved considerably. Now I have a way of practicing and knowing what I’m doing right or wrong. Kirk’s video reviews keep me on track and focused on the system that he has mastered. Finally, playing golf is something I look forward to doing!
I have been following and practicing Kirk’s Setup 4 impact swing since April 1, 2021. Never in all my years of trying the master this game have I come across something so easy and effective to follow. It has changed my game for the better. I have increased my distance and accuracy across all my clubs. I have cut an average of 6 strokes of my game just in the last month. Thank you Kirk for sharing your system with me for free. I will never forget your kindness and love for the game. I am honored to call you my teacher. If you want to learn and improve your game you have come to the right place.
Hi! This is Jack Tomkovick again. I am now 69 and the Setup 4 Impact swing still works! I was the leading money winner on the "Geezer" tour at my public course in North Carolina in 2019, and since turning 69 in August, I've shot 69 twice, 68 twice, and yes, 67 twice! The topper was a 4 hybrid into a par 5 from about 175 yds. The shot looked like a laser beam to the green. It hit and rolled 10 INCHES from the cup for a kick in eagle, and a big skin! Thanks again to my buddy and Master teacher Tony Griffin for allowing me to learn this swing! peace.
Just wanted to let you know your golf video in two weeks has lowered my score by ten stroke and increased my drive by 25yards. Brian G. ..................................................................
Happy New Year!
Quick testimony. 15 years ago at age 30 I was an 8 handicap.
Over the past decade I went to a 15 handicap, mostly from lack of play.
Today, after watching many of your videos over the past few weeks/months, I shot a 7-over 77.
It was the best round I've played in over a decade.
Thank you for your instruction!
Sincerely,
-Jim Ces...
Kirk, Here's part of my email to Tony earlier this week: "Learned about Moe Norman a week before Bryson won the US Open. Started working on Single Plane Swing during the weekend Bryson won the US Open. I'm 65 and thought losing distance was a fact of life after reaching my 60s (currently 65) until experiencing some good Single Plane Swing results. Even applied Single Plane setup to pitches with good results. My best rounds so far were 75 about 20+ years ago and I'm probably upper 80s right now. Found Kirk's YouTube videos last night and happy to learn there is a Single Plane instructor in North Carolina". Had instruction from Tony at Sanford yesterday. Wow, Tony showed me things I've been searching for since starting golf over 50 years ago. I told Tony before the session I suspected I was uncocking too soon during the down swing losing power. Tony moved me from a finger to your style grip immediately. We worked on drills and he videoed my short iron and driver swings. I hit my driver OK, but know I have it in me to hit longer more accurate iron/wood shots. At the end of the session (not videoed) my driver carry distance was at least 230 to 240 yards on a few of my final shots. I used to give aerobatic flight training, so it was a bonus and made so much more sense to me when Tony later emailed videos of my swing also with his & my swings side by side with commentary and color markups during slow motion/full speed swings. Worth every penny for the instruction! Tony pinpointed my problem areas and now I have a clear understanding of how to improve my swing. It was dark when I returned home yesterday and raining here today, but can't wait to to get to the practice range today when the rain stops. Something else, I keep a PRGR Black Launch Monitor HS-120A in my golf bag. I put it behind Tony when he demonstrated a few driver shots. When I see a 66 year old Super Senior like Tony with clubhead speeds at 107 to 108 MPH with carry over 260 yards and total distance over 280 yards with great accuracy, I'm impressed since I've seen the world's best at Augusta and the PGA championship! To be continued! Thanks, Bill Wilson S, NC

Dear Kirk,
I've been a member of your site since January.
I had a total posterior hip replacement on February 5.
I started studying the drills as I did my rehabbing.
In April I began to swing a golf club a bit.
I'm 68 yrs old, and have had very little success with a standard golf swing.
Today I played for the first time since starting with your system. I hit EVERY FAIRWAY! I'm still working out my yardage with a new set of clubs, but still scraped out an 84. A really great score for me. And it was super comfortable.
Thanks for your instruction, your system and the huge amount of information you provide. I'm elated!
Regards
Kirk. In your last email response to me you encouraged me to finish strong in the last few holes of my rounds when I was tiring, because of my heart condition. I purchased the "Setup for Impact" membership as a last gasp for my deteriorated golf game. As a scratch player for over 20 years, my game at 68 years of age was completely gone. I started the year with a 9 handicap and had decided to give up the game. It was no longer fun since I couldn't perform at a high level. Since totally adapting your single plane swing by setting up for impact, my handicap is now a 1.2. I'm totally regenerated and am now excited to get to the course. I feel like I'm 30. Shot 3 under today! I'm hitting solid golf shots again, and my buddies are wondering what has happened! Thanks for your commitment to helping us all to play to our potential!
sending in a note to express my thanks for a well run 3 day camp and express my thanks for attending and finally getting golf advise that has transferred to the course,,i took the jan 24-26 course in royal palm,,the veterinarian, and did see immediate glimpses of improvement,,i did spend a lot of time working on the basic body rotation for this set up,,alternating time at the range,,back porch and on the course,,,i am 6 weeks out and rather consistently striking the ball solid and many/most shots are dead staight,,,i never hit a flushed iron,,now i almost expect it,,,woods the same way,,my process is so simple,,after i walk though the set up,,i just stay slow in the backswing and start the downswing through my feet and legs,,this past week my brother in law was in town,,we played 3 days in a row on my course,,lots of water and sand, white tees,no mulligans and i shot 83-92-86 which are dream numbers for me,,i was so frustrated with golf i thought of quitting,,golf has become a joy and i do feel i will continue to improve as my timing and rhythm become more sub conscience.anyway,,thanks again and i would highly recommend the 3 day course for any high handicap, frustrated golfer!! side not being that the chipping and sand drills improved that part of my game too,,,i always did chip well,,but your simple repeatable set up improved that part of my game ,,best wishes mike
