Help us out chaps. I am having some issues with my driving. Two way miss🙃 no matter what I try it doesn't change the result. On a positive note my iron play is great💪🏻. Working really hard to stay inside and keep my height at impact. One question I have, does your stance width increase using the driver? Could really do with Kirk posting a YouTube just about driver fix🙏🏻 ... See MoreSee Less
For me it does, as the length is longer. Kirk walks through ball placement in the earlier drills, which is basically where you consistently divot when setup in the swing.
I believe the same applies with your driver, which will most likely be further back.
Drill 3 really helps me with driver……improves timing tempo face strike
There are two videos Kirk did on YouTube, this link might help,
youtu.be/cLnoq3j9KXE I tend to gradually get my driver stance a bit to wide then bad stuff starts happening. I like keeping the ball forward just at the inside of my front foot. The one killer move that I still work at eliminating is a slight slide of my hips on the backswing…things can get really ugly. Video yourself and draw lines you might be surprised.
Thank you so much! 😊
Probably a bit early release which will give you the two way miss. There is too much clubface rotation at impact. It is likely that if you get the hands leading into impact with the driver that the ball then goes way right, so the next one you flip the club closed and either hit it straight, or left. So you need to fit the grip to where it needs to be when the hands are leading into impact. With the driver the hands should at least be even with the clubhead at impact. Stance should be at it’s widest with the driver. Shoulder width is a good width.
Most people struggle with impact even when doing the drills. Keep checking yourself either by looking at the finish, or shooting a video of yourself.
