Kirk Junge wins National title again by six shots.

On October 7th and 8th, 2024 SETUP 4 IMPACT® golf method inventor Kirk Junge once again competed in the Annual US Golf Teachers cup in Las Vegas. This tournament is run by the United States Golf teachers federation (USGTF) and had 35,000 golf pros eligible to play. At 60 years old Kirk competed in the Senior division.

Kirk successfully defending his title on a much more difficult golf course in Las Vegas at Painted Desert golf club. Winning by six shots for the second year in a row. Being the only player in the field who setup and swung the club on a single plane proved to be a very big advantage at Painted Desert which has very tight fairways and tricky greens.

Kirk had this to say of his victory. “My drill 1 was once again key as I had not played all that much this year and needed to get my ball striking back to where it was last year, so I did 150 reps per day of the drill with my lag shot 7 iron. That is 50 RH, LH, and both hands. My ball striking was almost flawless and would have shot much lower scores than the 72-74 I played. The greens were in horrible condition running around 3 on the stimp meter. They were the slowest greens I have ever played. It was still a lot of fun to showcase my almost perfect ball striking and consistent short game. I am still playing the best golf of my life at 60 years old, and love helping others do the same. I look forward to 2025 and going for a three-peat.“
